Our mission is to better the lives of those residing in the rural areas of Colombia, providing families with the basic necessities of life.

To meet the needs of Colombians, Hands On Outreach has established three main efforts. They consist of providing food, school supplies and shoes to those in need. We currently aid 250 families per month.

Hands On Outreach currently works in five villages, Agua Puchas, Cucharal, Buena Vista, Capitan and Balconcitos. These villages are located in the mountains outside the capital city of Bogota.

"Hands On Outreach is being the hands and feet of Jesus in Colombia."

- Cindy Salinas // Founder, Hands On Outreach

There are many organizations aiding the poor in Bogota, but not outside the city in rural areas. This is due to poor road conditions. It is a treacherous drive from the city to these small villages, but Hands On Outreach knows these people are in dire need.

The founders of a Hands On Outreach reside in Ganado, TX. Once a year, we take a team to Colombia to distribute school supplies, shoes and meat. During the rest of the year, we have an on the ground contact who runs our food bank. His name is Hector.

Hector delivers food to families in need year around. He prays for the people daily. Hector also has Bible study with some of the families. Hector lives in Bogota, Colombia.

In the future, we hope to expand the amount of villages we aid. We hope to continue to support Hector and involve him in our efforts.

Thank you for your interest in our organization. We are excited to bless those in need and we can’t do it without your help! If you have any questions about our organization that we haven’t answered above, please feel free to contact us.
